PARTNERS in P.E.R.F.E.C.T for PTERYGIUM®

Professor Lawrie Hirst, the pioneer of this surgery, and Dr Katherine Smallcombe who has studied the technique under the supervision of Professor Hirst, are the first partners accredited to perform P.E.R.F.E.C.T for PTERYGIUM®.  Dr Todd Goodwin has completed the intensive Fellowship requirements and has joined us as a partner. Since that time, Dr Juanita Pappalardo in Brisbane and Dr Tanya Trinh in Sydney have trained and been accredited in P.E.R.F.E.C.T. for PTERYGIUM®  Ophthalmic surgeons throughout Australia who are prepared to undertake a Fellowship with Professor Hirst are encouraged to contact The Australian Pterygium Centre.

Only these five surgeons have been trained by me in the P.E.R.F.E.C.T. for PTERYGIUM® and have been accredited to perform this procedure. Any other ophthalmologist claiming to perform the P.E.R.F.E.C.T. for PTERYGIUM® procedure is not entitled to use this trademark, and has not been trained in the procedure by me.
